What do we mean by FANUC Alarm Codes?
A FANUC alarm code is a way in which the CNC control reveals there is a problem. The fault message might show problems in the machine, which could be electric or mechanical. The FANUC fault code could show a problem with the g-code program.

71 DATA NOT FOUND
The searched address is not found, or a program with a specific program number cant be found in the program number search. Review the data.
73 PROGRAM NUMBER ALREADY IN USE
The ordered program number is already used. Use another program number or exclude the useless programs and perform the program registration once again.
75 PROTECT
An effort was done to register a program in which its number was preserved.
5435 PARAMETER OUT OF RANGE
Wrong parameter setting (set value range)
5436 PARAMETER SETTING ERROR 1
Wrong parameter setting (setting of the rotation axis)
5437 PARAMETER SETTING ERROR 2
Wrong parameter setting (setting of the tool axis)
5058 G35/G36 FORMAT ERROR
An order to switch the essential axis is specified for circular threading. Instead, an order for setting the length of the essential axis to 0 is specified for circular threading.
5055 M–NET PRT/FRT ERROR
Vertical valency or framing fault
5052 M–NET ETX ERROR
Abnormal ETX code
5073 NO DECIMAL POINT
A decimal point is not appointed for an order in which a decimal point must be appointed.
5074 ADDRESS DUPLICATION ERROR
The same address is specified once or twice in one block. Instead, two or more G codes in the same category are specified in one block.
5082 DATA SERVER ERROR
This alert is shown in detail on the information server message screen.
5117 SPL: ERROR
The first control point of NURBS is incorrect.
5137 FSSB: CONFIGURATION ERROR
FSSB found a configuration fault.
5405 ILLEGAL PARAMETER IN G41.2/ G42.2 ‘
The parameter setting that identifies the relation among the rotation axis and rotation plane is wrong.
5411 NURBS: ILLEGAL ORDER
The number of steps is appointed wrongly.
5412 NURBS: NO KNOT COMMAND
There is no knot appointed. Instead, in NURBS fulfillment mode, a block that is not related to NURBS interpolation is appointed.
5414 NURBS: ILLEGAL KNOT
The number of blocks which include knots only is not enough.
5085 SMOOTH IPL ERROR 1
A block that appoints smooth interpolation includes a syntax fault.
